New dolls! 8O

Literally new dolls, since Monster High dolls are totally new to me. :)
I have been thinking of buying one of those for a while. I was interested about customizing of MH dolls, but I hadn't found any pics of customized ones or even plain body pictures to see how they look under the clothes. Anyway, last week I saw Fairchildren's blog post about her customized Ghoulia and I was like, that's it, it can be done! 8D Fairchildren has very pretty custom Ghoulia, go to see her blog if you are interested. :)
I was worried if it is hard to remove the heavy face-up what the MH dolls have. They are mostly meant for kids anyway and not for customizing.

I was thinking of getting either Lagoona Blue or Clawdeen Wolf, but when I went to actually buy the doll I didn't find either of them. 8( I visited two local stores selling Monster High dolls. I ended up to buy Cleo de Nile, since she was my third option and Prisma was selling those cheaper versions Dead Tired-series. I got the last Cleo de Nile from there. 8) Only others they had were Draculaura and Ghoulia.

Pretty night picture of the box.
It's not yellow, you only think so, yeah. :p
The doll and what she came with. Wow, a dolly stand. :p

The only thing I wanted from the package was the actually doll, so the other stuff doesn't really matter for me. That is the reason why I chose the cheaper Dead Tired version. x)
Today when I was actually home when there was some daylight I took some better pics of the doll. Mostly to show the body. Maybe someone finds these useful. :) I tried to look for body pics before buying the doll but didn't find any.

OMG naked dolly!
Let's see how long Photobucket keeps these...

The most stupid thing in my opinnion -  the high heeled legs.
No ankle joint, no anything... The doll can't stand on it's own without high heeled shoes.

The body is very pretty. First I was surprised about the shape of the back, but now when I have been handling the doll more I kind of like it. And it is pretty in a way. :) Also these don't have too huge boobs or anything.

She can do some pretty posing -  in sitting position.
Standing too but only with the damn high heeled shoes...
The shape of the back... Is meant for this pose. xD
Close up the the face. Make-up looks very heavy. @__@

I'm not sure yet what to do with this one, since originally I had customization plans for Lagoona. I will buy Lagoona later when I find one. :) This one will be more like a test piece. I will remove the face-up and try to do a new one. I just have to find some time to do it. :D My next day off is next weekend so that is the earliest. I'm not sure do I want to wipe off the eyes. I don't think that I can actually paint so well that I would be able to paint new eyes for her. I'll have to see what to do with her. @__@ Maybe I will ask Linda if she would like to try painting eyes for doll. She is a skilled painter, at least what comes to small figures and such. :)

I have another new doll too. x)
Those who follow my Twitter might remember my tweets about Pullip Lan Ake I bought from LJ. She has now arrived. :)
I got her second hand and the doll came without a box, clothes or stand. It had Lan Ake's stock wig, eyechips and face up. Body wasn't stock, she came with Obitsu body. 8)

Here is the dolly. Crappy pic, but no can do. :D The wig isn't in the greatest shape, but no matter. I will get her a different one anyway. Also the eyechips I might change later but I'm not sure about that yet. Also, she arrived naked and that Baribie dress was the only piece of cloth that did fit her... 8D Damn, one more doll in need of clothes.

Wow the size difference... I prefer Dal more! D8
I had bought a wig that I planned for the Lan Ake... But surprise, it was too small! Yanagi is now wearing it temporarily, since her own stock wig is starting to be rather worn out (oh, the quality...). I need to get new wigs now for both of them. Maybe I can buy those from LDoll..? I might take Lan Ake with me to try the wig on there, since the size I thought would fit was totally too small. Or now I can measure the head since I actually have the doll. 8)
Lan Ake also needs a name, but I think that I will decide it after I get her to look like I want her to be.

Jaco! And storage problem solved.

Day of joy, Jaco got some suitable pants today!

They look pretty coool and fit perfectly. :3

Ya... He has been sitting on a shelf too long time...

Jaco needs more clothes. Poor boy has only those that are on him at the moment. And only one pair of shoes, so more of those too. I'm also starting to consider if I should someday update Jaco into a double jointed body, because it would make posing much better. Not it is very limited with that old old Dream of Doll body. But I'm afraid that the new DoD resin color won't match to the old head at all. 8( Well, I have to think about it anyway.

I have been having problems of keeping all my dolly stuff organized. Mostly it is my own fault because I'm so messy person. I had all the clothes and stuff held in the boxes of which my dolls had arrived in, which was maybe good way to store, but everything was so messed up inside them... I saw LadyNancy's tip at Finnish Pullip forums about how she uses minigrip bags for storing dolly clothes. (Like it wouldn't have came in my thought before... I'm so simple person.) Well, I thought that: great, maybe I'll try it too! 8D But it didn't quite remove the fact that I still had to dig around the boxes to find the correct bag. But helped a lot anyway.

Last week I went to Ikea, and bought a cool storage system. That was meant for shoes, but who cares! 8D I bought four boxes separately. Let's see my current storaging system for doll clothes and stuff! :3

The thing is hanging in my wardrobe, hence no pics that would show more...
I labelled the boxes by what is inside them. Like Pullip stuff, petite girls, Matoko, tiny stuff...8D

Everything inside the boxes is stored in minigrip bags.
Also labeled because it was fun. 8D

The top part is without boxes, but I had to make labels anyway...
Got addicted to labels, shouldn't have even started that.

Now I hope that my dolly stuffs will stay in better order and in good shape. Without cat hairs also! 8D
While I was at it I went through all the doll clothes I threw away some very old crappy ones and things that none of my dolls actually hadn't used ever. Mostly those very some of my own early sewing tryouts. :D Now I also know better what my dolls have and what they are missing. And the fact that Matoko has the biggest wardrobe... He was the only one who got a box only for himself. In the other hand Jaco only has that one set of clothes, and also the MSD girls could use some real dresses and pretty shoes. And my petite girls are also missing shoes. Jamila has none, and Shia only too big ones. 8(
